Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises research and evaluation (R&E) related to academic innovation in child welfare at FICW.
  • Serves as principal investigator on multiple simultaneous projects and supervises delegated projects (in-house and outsourced).
  • Advises the Associate Director on research-informed recommendations for policy and practice.
  • Required to liaise with their professional development counterpart to evaluate FICW programming related to academic innovation.
  • Identifies and fills relevant research gaps toward new programmatic development and continuous quality improvement.
  • Serves as the main R&E point of contact of Project WAKE-UP.
  • Supports the Associate Director in the strategic planning of the academic innovation research agenda.
  • Standardly supervises 1 postdoctoral fellow and one graduate assistant.


Qualifications

Ph.D. in social work or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting evaluations; experience supervising or coordinating research teams

Anticipated Salary Range

Mid to upper $80,000's, commensurate with experience
