Industrial-Organizational Psychology: Assistant Professor

Location: Brackett 418-Clemson University

Clemson's Department of Psychology is inviting applications for one tenure-track faculty member with expertise in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. For this Assistant level position, we are open as to specific research interests, but are especially interested in individuals with research interests in team science, occupational health, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, or cutting-edge topics in personnel psychology.

This position will begin fall of 2022. The ideal candidates will have a strong research orientation with potential for extramural support, and a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education.

The campus is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near outstanding year-round recreational opportunities. The Department of Psychology is a research-oriented department with 35 full-time faculty, more than 1000 undergraduate majors and 40 graduate students (http://www.clemson.edu/cbshs/departments/psychology/). We currently have PhD programs in Human Factors Psychology (HF) and Industrial-Organizational Psychology (I-O), and an MS program in Applied Psychology. We are looking to develop a third PhD program in Health Psychology, and are seeking individuals who are dedicated to moving the department and university forward.
