Description
Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Casual Opportunity
Children’s Nebraska is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our expanding Behavioral Health team in a casual/PRN capacity. This flexible position is ideal for a physician seeking part-time or intermittent work in a supportive, collaborative pediatric-focused environment—whether you're returning to practice, balancing clinical work with other responsibilities, or simply looking for meaningful, flexible clinical engagement.
In January 2026, Children’s will open its new Behavioral Health & Wellness Center—a state-of-the-art, 103,000-square-foot facility designed to offer a welcoming, inclusive, and healing environment for all children and families. As a casual team member, you will have the opportunity to work across a comprehensive continuum of care including crisis assessment, inpatient psychiatry, partial hospitalization (mental health and eating disorders), outpatient services, and integration with pediatric primary care. Our model of care is deeply rooted in trauma-informed principles and values the essential role of families and communities in the healing journey. Once fully operational, this center will provide a level of pediatric behavioral health continuity that is truly unmatched in the region.
