ATTENDING PSYCHIATRIST, Full-Time
Salary Range: $300,000 - $325,000

Join a collaborative team providing inpatient psychiatric consultations alongside multidisciplinary hospital teams and outpatient services at our designated Article 28 sites. With telemedicine opportunities available, you'll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact across diverse care settings while serving a culturally diverse community.
The chosen Psychiatrist will:
Provide inpatient psychiatric consultations in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams as requested by other hospital teams. TBHC does not have an inpatient psychiatry unit. Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.
Provide outpatient psychiatric consultations including our specified Article 28 sites. Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.
Evaluate patients, formulate diagnoses, and recommend treatment plans.
Establish and maintain a faculty practice for a minimum of 2 sessions per week. Sessions can be completed via telemedicine.
The ideal candidate must:
Be Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
Have graduated from an accredited medical school
Hold and maintain a current and valid NYS license to practice medicine
Be eligible for an appointment with the Medical Staff
Possess a valid and current DEA number
Demonstrate a strong interest in academics and leadership; prior teaching experience with students and residents is a plus
Bring a thorough knowledge of psychological diagnosis, therapeutics, and pharmaceuticals
