We specialize in treating people who have experienced medical and/or emotional trauma or a neurocognitive deficit including Concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Headache/Migraine, Chronic Pain as well as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and many more. Using a personalized combination of Neurofeedback, Eye Movement Desentization Reprocessing, Heart Rate Variability Training, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Retraining and Counseling/Psychotherapy, we will help guide you towards emotional, cognitive, and relational improvement.

Therapist Role Description
This is a full time job, 35-45 hours per week, on-site role for a Therapist at Behavioral Medicine PC (BMPC) located in Loves Park, IL. The position requires an Illinois license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist. The therapist will provide individual, couples and family health and behavioral assessments and interventions including QEEG, Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neurofeedback (NFB), Heart Rate Variability Training (HRV), and other evidenced based modalities. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Additionally, the therapist will document sessions and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

Requirements
Qualifications
Experience with individual, couples and family psychotherapy and health and behavioral intervention
Skills in conducting psychological and behavioral health assessments
Knowledge of documentation practices and maintaining HIPAA compliant patient records
Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Licensed as an LCPC, LCSW or Psychologist
Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is required
2 years Experience in a clinical setting
Basic EMDRIA approved EMDR training required
Willingness to train in house to provide Neurofeedback and Heart Rate Variability Training
Internal Family Systems (IFS) trained or informed a plus
Must be located in commutable distance to Loves Park, Illinois, United States
